Taking a walk in my backyard this afternoon and finding a dozen cigarette butts and a cigarette wrapper strewn all over my backyard, was not a plesant site.

Remembering the other night when I stepped outside in my backyard , that my backyard neighbhor's teenagers were out smoking and talking, not bothering anyone at the time (or so I thought), all I have to say now is:

If your teenage ‘children’ want to smoke in your back yard with their friends, that’s their life to ruin, but tell them to grow up and keep their butts and trash in their own yard.  Or better yet, show some maturity and just clean up after themselves!

You should go to your neighbor and have a friendly chat about it.  Fence closest to the mess is likely the source.  Considering they were thrown over the fence, it's likely the parents may not know about the smoking and the teens were afraid to get caught.  It could also be laziness, who knows.  At any rate, if they were tossed while still lit, it could cause a fire especially with the dry grass we have around here.

Is your backyard neighbor on San Joaquin and Tiber? I know the dad was out of town last week and the teens might have had a small party without him knowing...

SMALL party?? Those boys partied non-stop from Friday night til Tuesday or Wednesday. There were more girls coming out of that house Saturday and Sunday morning than Victoria's Secret! If you don't know where your kids were Halloween weekend, they were probably at "traffic man's" house!
