Intersection at Concho & Tyne

Posted in: River Trails

The intersection of Tyne and Concho is very busy -- especially from 5pm to 7pm.  The residents that live near this intersection ALWAYS park their cars (older blue truck, gold Honda) in the street, making this a difficult section to navigate.  I assume that others of you reading this know exactly what I'm talking about....

I assume there is some violation here:  parking on the street near the end of a block, blocking a fire hydrant (assuming there is one in that area), disrupting traffic, etc.

Can we get this looked into / reviewed for possible violations to support getting this issue addressed?  It's not my intent to have a ticket or fine issued, rather I just want the vehicles moved so that traffic is not bottled-up on a daily basis.

How about everyone in the neighborhood slow down and actually stop at the stop sign..

I can't tell you how many people run that stop sign everyday it is out of control, it is just a matter of time before there is an accident.

Totally agree with you about blowing thru stop signs....that happens EVERYWHERE in our division, especially on Perdido!!

Even if people stop, the area that I mentioned above is a bottle-neck and the residents of that particular area need to move their cars--or as you mentioned, run the risk of having their cars involved in an accident.

Considering people don't stop at stop signs, doubt they'll stop after knocking one of your mirrors, doors, fenders off.....your choice....

the city of fort worth has an app.  i have it downloaed on my iphone.  you can take a picture and submit various violations right from your phone!!!
