Please be on the look-out for a Rottweiller-Mix that appears to have been dumped in our neighborhood. He is not vicious. He is an old dog. He is hungry and looking for something to eat. I saw him this afternoon on Saranac Trail. I ran home to grab food and water for this poor dog. He gulped-up the water and ate the food almost immediately.
He limps. I don't know if he is injured or just old age. He has very long nails, so you can tell he has been neglected.
My heart goes out to all these pets that are abandoned in this manner. Why are people so cruel?
I did call animal control, but I don't know if they dispatched an ACO. If anyone sees him, please feed him, and call animal control. I really doubt if they sent anyone because it was closer to 5:00 P.M.
