Rabies and Stray Cats

That cat sort of looks like the female cat at 8533 Mystic Trail.  They let her get pregnant and have kittens then call the pound to pick up the kittens.  If it was her she may have bitten you because they took her kittens within the last two weeks.

 

It stinks that they will not pay the $30-40 to have her spayed at a low cost clinic. But instead bring kittens into this world to just be killed at the shelter. 

 

There are several feral cat rescues that are non-kill.  My other neighbor is working with a few to keep them out of the pound and alive.  Just wish the rest would. It is not the cats fault when the owner will not spay or neuter.

I know this reply is after the thread having been started for a while, but being bitten by an unknown animal could still mean he has rabies, the virus may not have taken hold at the time you were bitten, but may still be an issue.  A responsible doctor would have gotten you tested at the very least and started a shot-series.

sorry about the first post.  he determined it was a provoked attack   there was no other cases of attacks since that.
