Consider setting up an account, most of the neighborhood crime watch, news, and other resources are on Facebook now.  We check this website periodically but it has not been the primary source for discussions on the neighborhood for quite sometime now.  Wwhen you setup the account, you can put in very minimal information and set security so that your profile information is not viewable.  There are some other "tricks of the trade", depending on how technical you are, but those are the most basic tips for most people.

I don't use Facebook.
