TAKE A TOUR OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The neighborhood begins by entering any of the four streets off White Settlement Road.

Starting on Nursery Ln. about halfway down you can enter the Trinity River and Trails via access path. The trails are Fort Worth's biking, cycling, walking, running trails and the River is perfect for fishing and canoeing. Continue further down Nursery Ln. along the river until it turns into Scott Road. Stop for a moment and look towards the open field and you will find one of the finest farm animal herds within Fort Worth city limits.

Turn down Athenia Dr. to see a plant nursery and then travel up Athenia Dr. through the heart of the neighborhood. A quick turn on Redbud Ln. or Slate St. will send you directly to the Trinity River. Circle back around to Athenia Dr. go north to White Settlement Rd, then head west to Roberts Cut Off. The street is covered by beautiful trees that have been there for generations and ends at Deavers Ln. Traveling west DeaversLn. turns into McGee and bends with the river. Take some time to stop and enjoy the various specimens of birds and wildlife hanging out in the trees. Turn north on Westfork to exit the neighborhood and view a piece of Texas historical land, Crystal Springs Dance Pavilion. This is where Western Swing began with performers like Bob Wills and Milton Brown, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow reportedly came to the pavilion.
