If so many are unhappy with the HOA....Lets change it. I'm the only person on this board who uses a real name. If you are serious about removing the "Old HOA" And they know who they are. We know they read this... I'm ready for change. I lived here from 1996 and its always been the same. We need some people who really care about our neighbor. All really concerned neighbors need meet for dinner and really get serious. Anyone really want change? I'm ready for change.

How many people did you find that responded to your post?  I didn't see anyone respond to your post.  There are alot of people in the neighborhood that have opinions but not alot of people that really want to do anything about it.  Homeowners can be voted into office they just need to show up at at the next HOA on November 2 and put their name in to be on the board.  We are lucky to get 20 people to show up at the annual meeting.  We get alot of complainers but not alot of people that what to really work to do anything.

I find it interesting that at the last meeting there were 5 people that wanted to get on the board.  Why do we now have 2 emply spots and 1 member was supose to retire but he is still on the board.  Sara and I have been doing more for this communitee in the last year than the HOA has for the two years I have lived here.

All the HOA does is compline that no one wants to help, yet when people offer it they do not take it.

I saw that a meeting was posted at the entrances for the beginning of November. I was unable to make it as I had to work. But it did not state on the sign where the meeting was to be held and the time. Is the meeting still held at Riverside Church? What time? I'm new to this site and will tell you that I have only attended two meetings in all the years we have lived here. And at both meetings that I attended there were alot of people who were there but there was alot of yelling and alot of......bitching going on. It looked more like a bunch of children arguing on the school yard than grown ups trying to run a meeting for us homeowners. I have not attended one since. I don't complain about anything that goes on around here b/c I don't attend the meetings. I have no right to complain if I'm not going to be there.
