RIVERVIEW WEST NEIGHBORHOOD

Our neighborhood is now between 40 and 50 years old with some homes predating the building of the majority of our tract homes. Newer two story homes are being built on the remaining available land along Euclid Avenue. The main commerical area of our neighborhood is along Harbor Boulevard with a variety of retailers ranging from Walmart at Harbor & McFadden down to many small family owned businesses.

NEW HOMES/CHURCHES

In the area of Euclid and 5th Street are new two story homes that are now for sale. Condos are planned for the corner of New Hope and McFadden. Our Lady of La Vang church is now under construction on the west side of Harbor between 1st Street & McFadden and will be a nice addition to our neighborhood.

NEW BUSINESSES

A new Walgreens Drug store is planned at the corner of Harbor Boulevard and 5th Street. Starbucks will be opening a new store on Harbor Boulevard near McFadden in the Walmart shopping center.

About our association

Riverview West Neighborhood Association

Our purpose is to identify concerns and issues of our neighborhood and seek remedies through the voice and efforts of the association. We promote neighborhood interaction and facilitate communication of our neighborhood with local government.

General Meeting Time & Location

We meet the 3rd Tuesday of odd numbered months at the Lake Park Mobile Home Park. The address is 4211 West First Street and is located between Harbor Boulevard and Newhope Avenue on the north side of First Street. The next meeting will be on November 15th and begins at 6:30 pm.
