Residents met with the Northgate market manager and city officials in early October about having the wall raised and the back of the market gated off. Currently the wall is only four feet high from the market side causing a lack of privacy and the protential for residential burgaries. After showing the manager pictures of their Buena Park store that was gated off he quickly agreed to do the same at their Harbor & McFadden store. Mike McCoy is working on getting this through planning and the residents are hoping for a resolution this year. As of late November, we are still waiting to hear back from city officials.
