Riverwood Sustainability Network

Project Replant Spring 2011

The goal for Project Replant is to engage the diverse residents of the Riverwood area in an effort to improve the appearance pperance of the Peoria strip from 56th street to 71st street. We believe this project will benefit the community in a variation of ways ranging from unifying  the community to improving on property values. The replant currently involves the existing planters located on both sides of Peoria from 56th street to 71st street. We intend to place a combination of long lasting vibrant plants in these large planters. We don't see why these planters should go unmaintained any longer and we need the support of our community residents and area businesses. It is vital to the sustainability of this community that we all take responsibility for the area's micro economy and show our respect by getting involved and taking action. Please contact Elizabeth Ashlock  794-6660 to volunteer for this future event. We are seeking committee members, sponsorships, and hard enthusiastic volunteers. Lets all join together to strengthen this area and raise our  standards for community outreach. We are the BEST, now lets show our truly diverse colors!!!! I guarantee you will have fun!
