Rolando Park Community Council

I had an idea of picking either a Rolando Park business or something near by and doing a small article on it. We need to support our local businesses and do what we can to attract those we'd like to see. Part of this is knowing what we do have in our area of town. Does anyone have suggestions on businesses they would like to see promoted?

Lee - one idea would be to highlight some of the new businesses coming into the area; 24 hour fitness, Jamba Juice (next door), among others. Also, I think that it would be complimented by another article in an earlier or later reporter talking about some of the established businesses in the area.

Hello Hillary! Glad to see that you are off the crutches. Sounds like a great idea. Can you work something up or maybe contact those businesses and get some info from them? Also you asked about an SPC article for the next Reporter. Why don't you write it now soon we won?’t be pushed for time. Unless you think stuff in it may change between now & when we publish the next one.
