Dear Friends and Neighbors,

We will be sending out a letter to each homeowner in the next few weeks asking you to vote on an important issue. This issue, if passed, will be a new amendment to the Declarations of Covenants, Conditions, & Restrictions, our governing documents.

The last twenty-seven years the Association has used a voting method called Proxy Voting at the annual membership board meeting held each year in June. This system was misused, and needs to be changed.

It is our attempt to implement the new Ballot Voting so each and every homeowner will have a direct VOICE and VOTE in all major issues regarding and affecting the Association. It is your duty and privilege to voice your opinion and help navigate the future direction of your Association. If passed, the board of directors will be using this new Ballot Voting form to communicate directly with you on major issues regarding our neighborhood. It is our belief that this will be the most democratic and honest method for you to let the board of directors know how you want your Townhouse Association to be run.
