How come some people have been forced to replace their roofs in the neighborhood and some are allowed to leave theirs in disrepair? Look at the back roof of the home behind Snelling Day Care on Lower Sacramento Road. It's been like that for a long time. It can't be good with wet weather coming soon!

The original posting was a few years ago, but the concern is an ongoing issue. "Why some and not others?" For issues regarging the condition of property, the primary factor would be it's impact on the community. The "back roof " of a home located on the boundry of the community my not be visable within the community. The rules and the enforcement actions are designed to maintain a minimum standard of living.. Superficial perhaphs, but quite common...people judge how a community looks. A good rule of thumb would be, "If you can see it from the street then keep it neat." |
