OPEN SESSION MINUTES
PRESENT

CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Pittman called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.
HOMEOWNER FORUM
There were 2 homeowners present.
REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES
Minutes of the June 28, 2006 meeting were reviewed. One correction was made. MOTION for approval as corrected by Mr. Radig; second Mr. Peterson. Minutes were APPROVED as corrected.
REVIEW AND APPROVE FINANCIALS
Financials for June 2006 were reviewed. There is one money market account with a very low interest rate. Mr. Breinig will look into accounts with a high yield for the Board to study. Motion to approve financials by Ms. Thomas; second Ms. Steele. Financials were APPROVED.
OFFICER REPORTS
Ms. Steele reported that the Board meetings will be held on August 23, 2006 and September 27, 2006 in the Peoria Library.
Landscape - Mr. Breinig will schedule a meeting with Carescape and discuss the lack of monthly report.
Architectural Committee-there is a pending request from January 2006 that needs resolution.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Breinig reports that there has been some new legislation passed that pertains to HOAs. Ekmark & Ekmark will be scheduling a meeting with HOAs in the West Valley. Mr. Breinig will let the Board know when and where the next meeting is.
OLD BUSINESS
American Family Insurance has until August 1, 2006 to pay on RRHOA?’s claim. Mr. Pittman will forward all correspondence received from American Family to Mr. Breinig.
RRHOA has a credit with Ekmark & Ekmark. Mr. Breinig will research why RRHOA has such a large credit with Ekmark. RRHOA would prefer a check from Ekmark & Ekmark over a credit balance.
The Board is still waiting for responses from painting contractors about the community walls. Discussion on this topic will be postponed until August.
The following lot numbers were drawn for the July prize drawing of $50: Lot 199, 99 and 162. No homeowners were present. The August prize drawing will be for $75.
