Please be aware that during the Xmas season the number of burglaries will increase in the coming weeks. So make sure you secure your home and keep an eye out for suspicious behaviior. I observed a Black male approx. 6'0 tall walking the neighboorhood on 12/17/07 around 2:30pm. He was dressed in a black warmup suit with a purple t-shirt underneath. He walked past my house on the corner of Nottingham and Ellis and proceed down Halbert headed south. As I was leaving my house 10 minutes later I noticed him standing on my neighbors porch on the corner of Ellis and Halbert knocking on the door and bumping it to see if it popped open, he then tried the garage door to see if it was open. I called 911 and reported it but an officer never showed up. The mailman pulled up across the street and scared him off. He left walking towards Handley Rd and Ellis. My house has been broken into 4 times this year so be observant. Have a Happy Holiday
