Last night the radio network was on. We did roll call and no one had informational broadcasts. So I was surprised to see the police in the 300 block and NO one said anything. I feel like people are going behind my back and being sneaky. I can tell you what happened last night. A brother and a sister had a fight and the sister slashed at the brother. He required 3 sutures for the wound. She was arrested and she does not live there. Also for those who think there is alot of traffic the people who live upstairs do not have a car so- surprise their friends come to visit them. Not all of us are lucky enough to afford a car. Do you even know the tenants names? Have you said hello or was the first thing you did complain that they are loud. Sometimes you have to talk to people and let them know how their behavior affects you and they can change. People are posting that things are going down hill. Well it is not the renters but the unaccepting attitudes of people who do not like the renters. Then get someone to buy the house. Or do you want a boarded up place next to you? I know that boarded up properties lower values of homes. And call the landlord with problems. Do not call his dad. That is pretty lame. Every one knows that Tony Haas is Frank Haas's son. Some one called Tony's dad. Tony is 48 years old. Making untrue statements....The anonymous person on my dads phone was just lame. False accusations (stabbings?) 30 people living there? just make you not credible.
So I would like to ask can't we just get along? I am so disappointed in this situation I could cry. Station 6 can take over the roll call because if I am being excluded from events going on down here it is clear I am not wanted. It was nice to be part of the group, I am sad that you do not want the same neighborhood atmosphere anymore.

Haste makes waste

I had a bad day yesterday and let something get out of hand. I apologize for venting. I care alot about where I live and I like being part of the neighborhood. I talked some things over with several of the neighbors and realized I had misunderstood some things. I am still disappointed that someone called my dad, Tony Haas's daad, and complained about a property. Like I said Tony an adult. IF someone has a problem it is OK to talk to me and I can get his attention ASAP, just have facts and he does care. He knows I live here as well as my dad and that we are staying. So in otherwords things will be getting better. We all just have to talk to each other. That way we can get the results we need.

Good Job

I think most people know that you are deeply involved in making the Valley neighborhood safer and nicer looking Janet.

Sometimes it seems like it is all for nothing but believe me people do appreciate what you are doing as well as what you've done. Hang in there and I'm glad you took over the radio network, I hope you continue with it and know there are a lot of people who back you.

As for the rest of the readers on here you might like to give some encouragement to someone who has done a lot for the neighborhood.

Whether you stay in charge of the neywork or not you are appreciated much by many!

I feel the need to vent too sometimes. There have been many emails I never sent. You do so much for our neighborhood and never ask for recognition. We're all pretty lucky to have you here. I'm glad to have you as a friend.
