I got handed an exciting opportunity to raise some funds for any group of my choice. We have a friend, who is not doing very well and has MS. I can pray for her health to return but I want to do more. So I decided to make the most of a great opportunity. In Spetmeber, the Pampered Chef is offering our cookbooks at a discounted price to all of our customers. The normal retail price of our cookbooks is $14.75 plus $4 S&H. This makes the outlay for one cookbook, $18.75 plus tax. With the discount provided, we can charge $15 per cookbook INCLUDING S&H and tax! This means that we saved our customers $3.75 over the regular price AND that $5 per book can go to the National MS Society in our friends honor. It also means that it is possible to generate an additional $2 per book,(For a total donation of $7 per book), if the number of books sold is over, get this, 60! My goal however, is 1000. I will be at the park on the 18th if you are interested in helping. I will be accepting checks and credit cards that day. I will not have cash to make change. If you think about it, you will understand why.So No cash please at this event. So to recap, $15 per cookbook, get a FREE smaller cookbook with the purchase of 3 at $15. $5 to $7 per book gets donated to the National MS Society. My goal is 1000 sold. MORE NEWS - BIGGER DONATION

I just got the news that we will be able to donate 50% of the sale from each book - $7.50 - to charity so here is how it has to work. The books sell for $15 each. The base price is $10.
Via The Pamepred Chef we will donate $1.50 per book to the NAtional MS Society. The other $6.00 will be donated to our deserving family for medical bills or whatever else they need. I WILL BE KNOCKING ON DOORS BEGINING THIS COMING SATURDAY MORNING! I so hope you can all help with this. It is not like this person has not helped us and our neighborhood over the years! She deserves to get something back form us for a change!
Remember they are $15 each. If you order 3, you get a FREE smaller cookbook! I do take chacks, cash and I can do credit cards. The books will delivered by the end of September!
If you would like to help me collect orders, please let me know. I have everything all set and ready to go. Or if your group needs some help, and again it is a 50% donation, let me know that too! This is only good in September!

If someone wants to contribute to your cause let them come to you. I don't want to be brothered on a Saturday morning so you can give me some high pressure sales pitch. Give people another opition to get a hold of you to help your cause. Give out your number so they can contact you.
