Crime Stats true or false?

Discussion not battle!

This is a a note for Dave and Jimboy.
You need to remember that this is an issue forum not a battle ground for I am right and you are wrong. If you want a pissing contest maybe their is another place. You need to look at the source of information, consider it and respond without being aggressive. I know that we all agree to disagree yet the key is discussing facts and leave out attacks. I could suggest a place but that is up to you to hammer out on your own. REMEMBER THIS WAS BROUGHT UP FOR A REASON! THAT IS STATS NEED TO BE ACCURATE. I think that we all have different sources so lets be civil. Also if you two KIDS don't like it feel free to e-mail or call me. I believe I have made my point.

Your point?

Curb your self-appointed role as discussion critic. Just remember you've asked that your messages be deleted on more than one occassion Phil. Joe Bob, Jim Boy, me or anyone else for that matter, has the right to agree to disagree in this forum without a condescending, contentious, diatribe on our comments. I suggest you read what I wrote again to find who's attacking who here.

Cooking crime stats was being discussed long before you surfaced. A few cops and citizens who give a damn about it, paid a heavy price to offer the truth in the ONLY PUBLIC VENUE available in this city. It took the Bee a year to get around to validating that data that was posted on Community Watch's web site. I would suggest you vent to members of the city council who busted Bee editors chops for "bad images".

It was a heavy handed police administration that told you Community Watch is a police term and inappropriate for use by civilians. They also said we needed a state license to patrol our neighborhoods, REMEMBER? Then they suggested we shouldn't have place under Community Police in the Links.

You're the one that's missed the point! A guy with a little brass on the coller can flex his mouth, and it's immediately taken as gospel. People cave, no matter if it's right or wrong.

If you want to call people who are or may be your elders by a few years "kids" then expect to accept the consequences. This "kid" has more facts to research.
