Light Rail

Posted in: Woodlake
There are meetings taking place between light rail and city traffic engineering to determine what can be done to reduce the accidents at Arden and Oxford. One proposal is to install crossing arms but due to the lack of space, a teardrop would have to be added to little arden making it an eastbound one way street between Oxford and Forrest. What do you think of this idea?

Expansion of Light Rail Station

It appears as though the expansion of the light rail station at Arden and Del Paso is not going to be done. Instead, the current plan is to make the Arden and Royal Oaks station into a major station where each bus would have it's own bay. There would be additional parking. It would be done on the land that is presently used by LumberJack. The station itself would move a few hundred yards east and the light rail curve behind LumberJack would be straightened.
