Some of you may have questions about the sidewalk renovation taking place in Wellington.  This project is made possible by the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (economic stimulus package).  Metro Government is responsible for the current sidewalk repairs in our city.   We are very grateful to Councilman Brent Ackerson (District 26) for the improvements.

 

Wellington had been working on its own sidewalk renovation project and was ready to begin when this project came to light.  We will move forth after the Metro project is complete. 

The oversight of the sidewalk project is through the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and any questions about this can be directed to the Engineer at 502-458-3432. The KYTC appreciates everyone's patience during this work.

As a Wellington Official I have been questioned about the sidewalk renovation so I was attempting to inform our residents about the current project.  Wellington also has a project planned for our sidewalks.
