Hello! My husband and I are looking to move to a house that is just west of Meadowbrook Golf Course and we are wondering in general about people's opinions on living in that area and most importantly we were wondering about safety in the area..... please share any thoughts on this subject :)  thanks!   Jackie

Hello Jackie,

Welcome to our neighborhood, my wife and I live just west of the golf course.

We have been in our house for over 25 years so you can tell we love the area.

It is easy to get to both downtown Fort Worth, Arlington and the HEB area.

You will feel safe in the area, we have some burglary's of homes and cars but

no more that any other area. We have very little violent crime. If you have any other

questions please let us know.

Hi Jackie,

We live on Watson St just west of the Meadowbrook Golf Course.  We moved here from Rochester New York 39 years ago.  There are a number of churches close by; in fact Central Meadowbrook Neighborhood Association meets in the Fellowship Hall of Eastern Hills United Methodist Church on Wilson Rd that borders the golf course.  Several grocery stores are also close by.  Interstae 30 is a stones throw away.  Getting to the DFW airport is easy and usually very quick.

We raised our family here, and have really enjoyed the beauty of the area for many years.

Hello, Jackie:

I currently haved lived by Tandy Hills Park for about 8 years.  I love the beauty, history, quietness, and uniqueness offered in the Meadowbrook areas.  One can take a leisure stroll on beautiful days, enjoy the smells of spring, and also get a little of the country atmosphere from barnyard animals.  The area is very centralized to many shopping centers, in addition to Arlington, Downtown Fort Worth, Bedford, Euless, Azale, and many other local cities.  Since I-30 is to the North, 820 to the east, I-20 to the South, and I-35 to the west, commuting is very accessible.  Local colleges are nearby for continuing education and aiding in a successful career.

What more can you ask for a quiet neighborhood?  I hope you will be apart of this great neighborhood and enjoy the community as much as I do.  Tammy-jo Parker
