breeding dogs

Posted in: Cookes Meadow

Is anyone else aware that it seems more and more of our neighbors are breeding dogs, and not properly fencing them making it a hazzard for children and walkers exercising

Yes. The dog breeding is frustrating.  I personally have picked up 7 or so with a slipknot until I can get my hands on a snap collar, and I have taken them down to the vet to get scanned.  They escape and are scared, thirsty, and hungry.  So many of them aren't properly microchipped or tagged.  They roam down dangerous streets with steep inclines & crazy drivers, and I have seen so many get hit.  I have also been chased by a nursing pitbull and her sidekick; neither were properly trained.

PLEASE report what you notice to CODE VIOLATION to help protect kids, walkers, the elderly, those who walk post-surgery for rehab, and those who enjoy yardwork.  It will also help to protect those other escape artists: the inside pets who sometimes sneak out of their harnesses and the front or back door to go for a "joy run!"
