it's not for Joe or you for that matter to decide the limitations of free
speech n the list serve
XXXX It?’s Joe?’s job to maintain standards for all the listserve users XXXX

all Nazis really want is silence, that is what they need to succeed with
theirprograms which
if they are uttered openly are so nasty that none of us would go along
anyway with their nonsense
XXXX Nazis want to silence opposing views. For example, A year or so ago an author was speaking at an engagement at Berkeley. He was speaking about his book, which suggested, based on evidence, that Mumia really did it. A crowd of anti-war/globalization/Bush/etc. students shouted him down and denied him his opportunity to speak. He had stacks of his book on a table in the back of the hall and, you guessed it, they BURNED HIS BOOKS. Erl thinks that I?’m scary. XXXXXX

we have a mission statement and bylaws for our association and we have a
democratic process which alows people an opportunity to bring their ideas to
the table and follow democratic procedure

I don't have a big problem with your hawklike stance etc., but I wish you
would refrain from what is indeed ''hijacking '' troublemaking'' etcetera in a
neighborhood in which you no longer have a vote, because you don't reside
here...right?If I were you, I might be grateful to be allowed to remain on
the list serve and if you have to try and influence folks, go ahead and
lobby for people's votes against free speech and see if you can't garner
support to limit discussion to some kind of neighborhood relevant
only...nonsense I say...we do not live in a vacuum...
as usual and quite a bit irked by your transgressions against our american
values
you are a little scary there bro
XXXX The limits on the listserve are already in place. My political postings were responses to Erl?’s political postings. It has been said that, ?“All Evil needs to succeed is for good people to do nothing.?” I think that it?’s cute that Erl would suggest that I sit down, shut up, and be grateful for being allowed on the listserve, and in the same breath, make a passionate demand for unrestricted free speech. I hope that when Erl says ?“we do not live in a vacuum?” he?’s not suggesting that I should have a vote in Samos ?– that really would not be appropriate.
For the record, I no longer live in the neighborhood; but after living there for twelve years I have many friends, businesses that I patronize, and my mailbox there. I am greatful to be allowed to participate in the neighborhood listserve. XXXXXXXX
