I am so tired of driving by and seeing all the terrible looking lawns!!..Weeds that are knee high...Dosent anyone care?? Are the people being given any notices? Or how about people that have let their yards completely die out and now have nothing but weeds for a lawn?? I must say that some neighbors take the time to care for their yards and then to have to look at their neighbors mess must be aggravating...

Hello, The yards that look bad. Are management company is giving them a notice by mail. But what you could do to help us. Is to when you see a bad yard call 311. ask to report a bad weed yard to code compliance. they will take the report and send a officer out to do two things. Give them a warning or a fine for breaking code compliance. or call 207-7230 to report them directly. Thank you for your concern. Wayne. By vise pres. |

What about our policies within our community? I recall when signing all our paperwork that this was part of our responsibility to keep a clean yard...Why not put the blatant addresses on your mailer maybe that will embarras them enough to get them off the mailer. Title the colum ''Offensive Yards'' by your neighbors and give them a column like your Gripey Neighbor Column...Maybe the scarlet letter will work!!... |

Hello, I agree & wish we could do that.But we can't. There is a law that prevents us from putting names addresses in are news letter. The privacy act.The gripey neighbor article is by some one in our community. Don't know who. Anyone can put articles in our newsletter. The board looks over the final draft before sending them out.
