I am sorry to inform some poor cat owner that their cat (with kittens) has been picked up by Animail Control. She had kittens under my shed and I didn't know who owned the cat, it was running wild. Animal Control, 737-1442, informed me she would be tagged for her kittens as soon as I caught them. To my dismay, three days later, the mother cat was put to sleep and now I called Animal Control to pick up the kittens. This was not easy seeing the kittens taken and knowing they also would be put to sleep. Animail owners, please keep your animals in your yard, in your care, and take care of them. They are your responsibility, not mine. Animal Control was very nice and came when I called, you just have to be home or have the animal under control for them to come out and get it(them), so if you have stray animals in your yard, let Animal Control know, they will even loan you a capture cage, for you to get the wild animail or stray animal captured. I just hope I never will need to have animals put to sleep because of careless owners.
