Any Suggestions

I have tried, but was told it was our problem, no longer on warrenty. If anyone has other suggestions please reply.

Paint

We have had the same problem with the paint; front and back door frames. I know it is out of warranty. I do remember Centex contruction manager Jason Michaud telling us that some maintenance would be required over time. He did mention keeping up with outside paint, fencing etc. Heck I have already had to replace a water heater. Anyway we have lived here, Oak Crest 2 for 6 years.

You should definitely contact Centex.  We have had roof problems that they had to come out and fix even in year 7.  If they did a sub-par job they should be held accountable for it.
