I would just like to confirm with another homeowner the amount they are paying for their homeowner's dues (not including pool, etc.)

Also, is it true that the dues can be raised up to 10% each year and we do not have to be notified? We are new homeowners in the area and are just trying to confirm this.

Assessments vs HOA dues

The assessment bill you receive from Timberwood Development (TDC) should not be confused with the $25/year dues to join Timberwood Property Owners Assn (TPPOA). Our association is a voluntary association; the assessment fees are mandatory and controlled completely by TDC and yes, can increase by 10% annually. Unfortunately, this is seldom explained to new residents moving into the area and causes alot of confusion!
