On May 4th a developer wanting to build 3 duplexes on hacieda came to the meeting she explained all the details . We knew what her plans were to build them and then to sell them and create more hud housing. We decided as a neighborhood association that we would fight aganist it and we took it to the zoning commsion . I made a presentation and after 30 mintues with pettions on hand from all the residents of Hacienda the commison voted with us to deny the developer the permit to rezone. We have a single family zoning in our area and it will stay that way. I wish to thank Mr& Mrs Washinton and all there neighbors for unniting and beating this threat.
