FEMA has come up with new flood plain maps and Towne Lake is now included in a flood plain.

This is currently a proposal....but if we are indeed determined to be in a flood plain...the ramifications concerning property values and insurance issues could be serious.
There is a series of meetings coming up.

The big flood of Oct. '98 was the real test. TowneLake was fine. The problem lies in all the building upstream.
