Our neighbors' dogs have destroyed the lower half of our backyard fence. The only thing they have done to amend the situation is place parts of a children?’s playhouse in against the large hole, in hopes of preventing their dogs from entering our backyard.
Sadly, their dogs have also defecated in our backyard, thus rendering our lawn with a putrid smell and giving us some difficulty in mowing. In addition, their tree (which is entirely on their property but its branches lean out into ours) is scratching the tiles on our roof. We will not pay for the damages because of the growth of the tree. Furthermore, our next-door neighbor's son and his friends have littered on our property at two o'clock in the morning. This is unsettling and although we are kind people, we were hoping they had enough sense to do the right thing. However, their level of intelligence would seem to disprove that they have any sense at all.

We are a busy family and it pains us to have to do this, but their irresponsibility demands action.
I will write a letter to them explaining the situation, take pictures, and obtain cost estimates and opinions from professionals who specialize in this field.
