I am new to the neighborhood and I do think this is a great site. I would like to know where is a good safe place to run downtown. I see alot of runners but I would like to know what are the good routes with less people and better times to run in. Can anyone help?

Safe place to run

I would think the the River Walk would be, not only safe, but a beautiful place to run. Sunrise should be a good time. The temperature is cooler and a lot of us are still sleeping.
WELCOME TO DOWNTOWN!
Safe place to run/walk

I walk very early in the morning right down in the middle of the city - N. St. Mary's to Houston to Alamo Plaza left on Commerce around the Marriot, down Crocket and back to Alamo Plaza then I go up past the auditorium and back down N. St. Mary's. There are very few people and cars at 6:30 a.m. which is when I walk. Unfortunately, it is now dark at that time. Woodlawn Park is a place Abbie likes to walk. Gail
