satisfied with pro-comm mgmt?

Posted in: Sonoma Ranch
are you satisfied with sonoma ranch hoa management company, pro-comm mgmt? what about the board of directors?

if you are satisfied, please post an experience and if you aren't, post that too. i'm interested in the compliments and the complaints.

for me, i'm somewhat satisfied about the security gates(remember, they have numeric keypads requiring pins) at the summit entrance. they appear to be functioning well(many thanks to mr. tompkins), but i can't help thinking how much **better** the gates would look without the primer spots.

because the gates at kyle seale and ruidoso downs never seem to be functioning well enough for everyone concerned, why continue to have them and the guard station that will never be used or occupied by anyone?

how much money could be realized in savings and put to better use (read functional street lamps) elsewhere in sonoma ranch if the gates and guard station were no more?

always wondering,
richard

unsatisfied with pro-comm mgmt

after downloading and verifying the pdf of neighborhood hoa registered with the city of san antonio with nina nixon-mendez, sonoma ranch hoa is not registered. try the links and see for yourself and then ask why pro-comm mgmt has dropped the ball on this.

the registration allows for access to city resources(free services??/free money$$) that could improve the quality of life we enjoy.

pro-comm mgmt knows very well about this registration, after all, they have registered 54 other communities in san antonio.

why hasn't sonoma ranch gotten the professional service pro-comm mgmt is well known for?

to recap:
city of san antonio annexes sonoma ranch 01/01/06
procomm mgmt hired 07/06
sonoma ranch hoa not registered as of 26 jan 07

why is this?

NOT satisfied with Pro-Comm Mgmt

We are new to this neighborhood and the very first experience we had with Pro-comm has been very unpleasant.

Procomm billed us for 2006 annual assessments that had already been paid at the time of closing. We called the local number for Sonoma Ranch HOA and asked them to revise their invoice. (Simple task-so we thought)

We were told to fax proof of payment (we did) The document we faxed them clearly showed the entire annual fees for 2006 had been paid in full.

Two days went by and we had not received the revised invoice. We called once more and they continued to insist payment for 2006 was due. Spoke to three different people and all were rude and uncooperative. They were not willing to listen and much less correct THEIR ERROR.

I resent having had to waste my valuable time on phone calls to different agencies to get the bill corrected. My impression of Procomm is that they have an un-professional staff with a ''prima donna'' attitude.

I know WE DESERVE BETTER THAN THAT!

prioritization problems

several thoughts come to mind while reading your message.

1. it seems to me that based on your experience, assessments are more important to them than accuracy in accounting.
2. pro-comm does not work for the community members, but rather the developer. as long as he is satisfied with their performance, nothing will cause them to change or act in more responsive ways.
3. bad customer service will be allowed to continue until the community members take control of the board.
4. pro-comm does not have adequate staff and/or talent to deal with the problems affecting sonoma ranch in a meaningful manner.

lastly, i will add that the community is *NOT* registered with the city of san antonio neighborhood planning dept(207-7873 nina nixon-mendez). reviewing the documents they have available at
http://www.sanantonio.gov/planning/neighborhoods/contacting_us.asp?res=1024&ver=true shows that pro-comm has registered *54* other communities in san antonio
