For those who have been following the recent story about the little boy who fell victim to abuse of family members, it is a shame that this situation is so prevalent in our own town. I hope that anyone who witnesses frequent traffic in and out of houses, screaming adults in public with their children, harrassment at the school bus stops, trashy houselholds, etc , that we will be the ones to call the authorities and do something. It is a shame that something was not done before this little boy was so abruptly taken from life and this could have been avoided had we all paid attention and did something.
