Horrible Neighbors!!

Time of Noise Does Not Matter

According to my neighboor, a SAPD Detective, the time of day does not matter. If it (noise) can be heard from 50 feet away...it can be considered a nuisance and a violation of city laws.

I have had the same problem with my neighbors, though not to the extent you've had. It's extremely frustrating to try and sleep at night while people are blasting their radios in their backyards. Call the police next time, don't confront this man yourself, he sounds almost dangerous! Scary to think that grown adults (?) are behaving that way. You could possibly have had him arrested that night. Good luck and be careful.
Horrible Neighbors

Isn't there anything in the Home Owner's Association stating that so many visits by the Police to a resident for any type of complaint or violation, the Association has a right to more serious repercussions?

I agree that it can be frustrating with neighbors who are reluctant with being concerned about their neighbors. However, I have a teenage daughter and for the most part we are a very quiet family and seldom show face because we're either in the house or out running around because of extracurricular activities. I've allowed my daughter to have a party 2 or 3 times since we've moved to the neighborhood and on one occasion someone called the cops complaining about the loud music. Don't you think that this neighbor should have approached us first, we would have been more than abiding!

I guess you'll get both types, those that really don't care who they bother and those that are just bothered period.

I guess that's why I'd rather my family just mind their own.
