I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks to Angela Bunting, Cathy Reiff, and Mike Sittler. These people are workers on the Recreational Committee, they volunteer in your sub-division, and they have accepted the responsibility of locking and unlocking the gates at the recreational park. These people give of themselves and serve the community because they care.
If you would like to volunteer to help the community we could use you on the Recreational Committee, please give it some thought. As the chairperson of this committee, I would like to ask you to take an interest in your park. These volunteers are not here to pick up your trash; this is your park we ask that you treat it as such.
The Recreational Committee in conjunction with the Board of Directors is planning a weekend potluck dinner at the park and we are asking all the residents to come and participate. There will be more about this dinner as time draws closer; I just wanted to let you know we are thinking of ways to draw our community together.
I understand that the there is an Arts and Craft Bazaar to be held at the park on July 15th it will be a time of good fun and some great things for sale. Come down and see what your neighbor can do, you might have the same interest.
