In the September newsletter I wrote an article about the need for cleaning up of litter in the neighborhood. I have been contacted by 2 individuals interested in participating. Michelle Moore, a cub scout den leader in Woodlake Pack 256 will be adopting Lakeview between Lakebend East and Woodlake Parkway. Her den will maintain this block. Also, Matt Beebee has adopted the part of Woodlake Parkway between Summerfest and Binz-Engleman. Matt and his family will help keep this area clean. Thanks to Michelle and Matt for volunteering and taking action. Also, last Friday I cleaned up along Lakeview between Foster Rd. and Lakebend West. It only took me about 45 minutes and it was good exercise. I challenge others in the neighborhood to make a visible difference by joining Michelle, Matt, and myself in this worthwhile cause. Thanks.
