Has anyone noticed the growing trash and graffiti problem? You cannot take a walk here without unsightly trash all along the street-sides assulting your eyes. it's everywhere. I know I paid/pay a good amount for my home, I expected to be living in a NICE neighborhood. But it's beginning to look like a ghetto.
I challenge everyone to go out and take a good 1/2hr to an hour walk and see if you don't see what I mean. I think many people don't notice, because they don't step out in the neighborhood.
Seems like we could get together and DO something about it.
The city has a ''DIAL-A-TRAILER'' programs. When your organization requests this service, a garbage trailer or brush trailer will be stationed at a designated site on a designated Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. see page: http://www.sanantonio.gov/brush/dialatrailer.asp
If we could gather enough people for one Saturday afternoon, and everyone get out and help pick-up, we could, possibly, take care of what's here now in an afternoon.
