It?’s that time of year again when we need to review where we have been and where we are going. The annual meeting for the home owners of Encino Bluff is being arranged as I write this e-mail. It will most likely be late January. Look for another note coming as soon as all of the arrangements are confirmed. At any rate, there are 4 items on the agenda as it stands right now. They are:
1. Elections for the position of Vice President. Lauren Cook?’s term expires this month.
2. Appointment of a person to serve as our Secretary.
3. Review of the annual budget. I have put it below so you have a sense of where we are and a chance to see it and study it before the meeting.
4. Open Discussion.
As you can see, our first task is to elect a Vice President. We will need at least two people, who are not board members, to serve on the election committee. These people will be responsible for:
1. Receiving nominations for the open positions.
2. Working with the management company to:
a. Iron out what the proxy ballots will look like
b. Count the votes on election night.
c. Certifying the results of the election.
