On September 20th 2005 at 6:30 pm at the One Stop Center a meeting has been scheduled with SARA board member Jim Johnson and Councilwoman Patty Radle.
This is the Bridge meeting requested by the Fields of the Mission Neighborhood Association concerning the placement of a bridge at the dead end section of Eagleland.
The Fields of the Missions are in support of the amenities associated with the hike trail but are in opposition of the bridge construction. Currently, this section of the neighborhood enjoys an isolation not found in downtown neighborhoods. The Fields of the Missions would like to see the bridge moved further downstream and away from this quiet spot in a busy city.
