  • Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor
This morning my wife and I saw a neigbor hit a deer. The deer were clearly standing at the border of the street and the roadway. From 50 yds back I saw the deer and slowed. Our neighbor didn't slow. No surprise that the deer ran into the road. Fortunately it didn't look like the deer or our neighbor was hurt. Remember deer on the side of the road are like little children. They don't understand cars. Even worse they often spook the wrong way when frightened. When you see deer slow down. It might save a deer, your car and more importantly you and yours.

deer fear

I'm sorry but your missing the whole point, you must not drive much? You can go 1 mile an hour or 80, makes no differance. Bottom line is there are too many deer in this subdivision, I know, I know the deer were here first but thats then this is now, the deer are not cute the deer are starving and becomming more of a problem each day.
Move them out to open range, prepare them for the hungry. But its an issue that wont be solved by heading to Walmart for more corn....Thank you
