Vote YES for empowering Bylaws

Vote YES for empowering the HOA Board to enforce bylaws through the neighborhood. There are problems within the community, and these change from time to time, but when a majority decide that infractions should be corrected the HOA should have the means to effect change. The decisions would be by majority, which is difficult to gather, and appeal processes would be available for discussion. What problems do you see in the neighborhood?
Street parking is a problem ...

But if many homeowners use their garage as storage or a workshop ... the only option is to park on the street. Personally I prefer if the streets were clear of parked obstacles. The neighborhood would appear better and have curb appeal. I think the homes in our neighborhood are impressive. But with many vehicles in the street the homes are obscured. I have talked with residents of other neighborhoods that penalize with a small fine for any street parking. That's one solution.
I agree

I agree that something needs to be done to enforce not only the ByLaws, but also the CCR's (Covenants). Howeowners seems to do whatever they please regardless of violating these stipulations. The State of Texas has legislation that gives HOA's the power to enforce the covenants, but our boards have never wanted to use this power although I don't understand why.
