It took a long time to repair the fence at the end of the dead end street but only a few days for juveniles to paint graffiti on it. Nice touch--blue paint and turquoise paint applied with a narrow brush. It would be reassuring if the parents of these vandals would make their small-fry taggers remove their make-believe gang symbols.

So What did u do?
Did you watch those kids do the fence? Did you call the police? Were they our neighborhood kids or vandals from the ''other'' side of the fence? Grafitti is a city wide problem and the best thing to stop them is to get off your duff and clean it up yourself. How? Just turn the boards around.DUH By mad as heck |

Re: So What did u do?
I agree to a point, we all need to be more proactive in curbing this kind of destruction. I did not see the taggers personally but the small park has been tagged as well. I am not going to call the police if I didn't actively see the taggers. We can't turn the boards around on the gazeebo. So, get mad at the taggers and the destructive persons involved. By Scott |
