Hi my name is Salina, and I have been living here for 2 years. Unfortunately the neighborhood has not done anything special since I moved here. The only thing is a swim team down at the pool. I would love to organize something but do not have the means (money or know how) to do anything. Parkwood participates in the Night Out (first weekend of August, I think) thing that the city tries to get neighborhoods to do. Atleast our neighborhood has not advertised anything about it like they have in the past. A couple of my immediate neighbors and I have been friendly to each other but have never really done anything. I think it would be fun. When I was younger we used to do stuff like that so I wish I could pass those memories on to my children.

If you have any ideas I would love to help.

No Annual Events!!!

To my knowledge there currently no scheduled events for our neighborhood. In the past we had several events a year but that has not happened in several years now. We used to have an Easter egg hunt & a end of summer party. Unfortunately community involvement, interest, & participation in this neighborhood has declined over the past few years. The ''key'' to getting anything organized is to attend the annual meeting in Jan at Scobey Elem & getting the community involved in communicating with one another.....C-
