I would like to know what the assocation has done to better our neighborhood. i look around and see unkept yards, junk cars, trash all over stray pets and I ask myself why. i think it should be done away with and let us do as we please.

That's why we need one

I think these are all reasons we need the neighborhood association. Be involved, call George Smith (the president), call code compliance or the pound if you have complaints. We have more options now that we are in the city. Shutting down the HOA will just make it worse.
