What is your favorite aspect of Parkwood? Meaning either what drew you to the community and/or what has grown on you over the years -- the people, the common areas (pool, tennis courts, jogging/fitness trail), the neighborhood association, etc.?
Just an informal poll.
I have family in Parkwood that's been there for many years. We have family photos showing our house being built. Parkwood initially drew them because of its location (convenient to work & school) and the fitness/jogging trail. Previous neighborhoods they'd been in were short on common areas, and the trail was the one we kids (at the time) were most excited about.
Now, it's just a nice neighborhood -- mature trees in the yards, a variety of people and age ranges, wide streets and hence a wide open feel. Plenty of room to walk, bicycle, jog, play tennis and swim. Relatively quiet and secure despite usual issues any large subdivision will have over time.
