Double standards

Posted in: Parkwood
I rencently received a nasty letter from ''The Association'' stating that my yard was in need of maintenance. Bluntly put was a sentence that said ''mow your lawn''! The weather being as it's been over the past two weeks (off and on rain, drizzle, etc) is the reason the grass and some weeds went out of control within a weeks time. I happily mowed and trimmed my yard this weekend (was planning on doing that whether I received the letter or not). My complaint is to ''The Association'' for not maintaining it's own property, particularly the three foot high weeds surrounding the new club house and parking lot next to the pool. Looks like trash to me. I say ''The Association'' should take care of it's own yards before sending out letters to the residents. I'm sure the extra $50 from each of the homeowners for yearly dues is more than enough to keep the common grounds maintained.
look to yourselves first HOA

I will have to agree with you. My husband and i recieved probably the same letter. Mind you we pulled the weeds and does not even need mowed now. This club house is an eye sore sight and i sure hope that our HOA can get out there and make it look like it is worth what they are charging to rent it out. I don't see alot of people renting this faciltiy when they can host it in their backyard or living room as small as it is. We agree they need to look at themselves before they tell us to clean up!!

Yards NOT Maintained

I totally agree with the fact that the Association needs to be consistent with their complaints. The RENTERS is what is bringing down this subdivision. Even the president of the association said he drives around and can tell which are the rental properties. THAT is embarrassing.
Moratorium On Notices

We are SO thankful that someone has commented on the notices received from the Association Management Services office. We would like to request immediately a moratorium on these notices until such time as reasonable procedures can be discussed in a meeting.
