Neighborhood Watch

At our last meeting re-establishing the Neighborhood Watch program was discussed. Is there any interest out there?

Yes...if done right.

Last time around, we lost interest in the Watch when too often concerns over petty issues took up too much time and energy.
Interesting Points

At the April meeting Officer Norris gave a brief summary of the program and handed out information. Neighborhood Watch is a scaleable program and can work for two homes or two hundred. For anyone still interested the DCC will cover the cost photocopying andrefreshments for Neighborhood Watch Meetings.

After the inital request we received at the March meeting interest has waned.

let's get started

I think we have enough going on, if guided, to keep from getting bogged down in petty issues. At the next election I will be changing from Vice President to VP of Sub Committees. In this new role I will be advocating groups to take charge of various issues in the area. I'd be glad to help you & others get these watch groups started and insure their continuance.
