Well, the streetlight issue was brought up on board meetings several times but the board never took a majority action. It seemed like the majority of the board thought the floodlights around SPW are sufficient as they were reluctant to spend homeowners money for public street lighting. Also, I could not produce any convincing evidence that the majority of homeowners wanted streetlights with just a few replies on this forum.
My suggestion to you is, at our next annual meeting, around January 15, 2010, someone may raise this issue to the board. If there were a majority of support of homeowners who attended the meeting it would convince the board to take fast action. Then I would do my best to bring it to the city's attention once again, despite the fact that our allocated time to reply back to the city has been expired.
