Unpaid dues and Board of Directors

Should there be a requirement for Members to be current on their dues in order to serve on the Seacrest Board of Directors?   

 

The Florida Homeowners Association law does not address this issue.  The Florida Condo Law states that a member who is more than 90 days past due is determined to have abandoned his/her Board Seat.
