There are five of us on Lake Shadows Drive that are having problems with our garage doors not opening using our transmitters. They work fine using the wall openers. We are all five along the entry into Lake Shadows Drive. Are there others that having this problem? The only thing we can think of is something is causing an interuption in the frequency that opens our garage doors. Has there been any work done in the neighborhood (Cable, cell towers, etc.) that might have caused this problem? Any help would be appreciated.
PS We have thought about the fact that this could be someone interested in breaking into our homes or cars so we have loaded the guns and the dogs are hungry

I had the same issue so maybe this is your solution.
The wall button is just like a light switch so it also worked in my case, I had to have the circuit-board replaced ($183.00 thank you very much) and that resolved my issue.
Most remotes are "rolling code" type so I would not think anything would be causing this (but again, I am guessing)
Are all your openers the same type? |

Fred,
Thanks for your reply, but it would be really weird that five neighbors would have their circuit boards go out all on same day. Our openers are not the same brand, although I think they all work on the same frequency (315 MHz). I am told all the new garage door openers work on this frequency. Weird deal, I have no clue what is going on. Might be visitors from another planet.
